When people come to me, they’re not always chasing six-pack abs or personal records. More often, they’re looking for something deeper. They want to feel confident in their bodies again. They want to move without pain, regain control, or simply feel like themselves.
As a fitness trainer, I’ve spent the past 25 years helping people do just that.
What Real Fitness Means to Me
To me, fitness isn’t about how much you can lift or how fast you can run. It’s about being able to do the things that matter to you, comfortably and confidently.
A good program doesn’t just push you. It understands you. It works with your body’s biomechanics, respects your injury history, and improves the way your nervous system communicates with your muscles. That’s where sustainable strength comes from: not brute effort, but intelligent training.
I’ve worked with clients recovering from injury, battling self-doubt, or hitting frustrating plateaus. I’ve helped people run their first marathon, slide back into a dress they haven’t worn in years, and carry their grandchildren without wincing from back pain.
And along the way, I’ve learned this: there’s always a better way.
How I Work With You
At RealFit, I begin with a simple promise: to meet you where you are.
Every new client starts with a full movement assessment. We look at joint mobility, motor control, muscular imbalances, and compensation patterns. I don’t just give you exercises. I give you a plan based on movement science and built around your life.
We blend corrective work, strength and conditioning, and progressive overload. Some days we focus on improving force output or stabilising under load. Other days, it’s about building resilience, energy, and restoring a healthy range of motion.
We keep things clear, consistent, and practical. We build your foundations step by step. And when it all starts coming together, you’ll thank us later.
Who I Help
I work with people who just want to feel like themselves again.
Maybe you’re tired of feeling tired. Maybe your clothes don’t fit the way they used to. Or you’ve started noticing little aches when getting out of bed or climbing the stairs. Maybe you’ve promised yourself, “I’ll start next month,” more times than you can count.
Most of my clients aren’t chasing six-packs or personal records. They just want to feel strong, clear-headed, and comfortable in their own skin. Some want to keep up with their kids. Others want to walk into a room with more confidence. A few simply want to move through life without pain.
We take things one step at a time. No pressure. No ego. Just real progress built on consistency, care, and small wins that add up. If you’ve been waiting for the right time, this might be it.
Because you deserve to be an instrument, not an ornament.
Why I Still Love What I Do
After 25 years in the industry, what keeps me going is simple. I care about people. I care about helping them feel good in their bodies, even when life gets busy or unpredictable.
Fitness should never feel out of reach. With the right guidance, built on both experience and evidence, anyone can move better, feel stronger, and live more fully.
Let’s Work Together
If you’ve been thinking about taking that first step — whether it’s getting stronger, healing from injury, or just feeling better — I’d be honoured to help.
