99% of the magic of networking doesn’t happen when you attend just one meeting. It occurs outside of the meetings.

A networking meeting is simply a place for you to meet people. However, it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to immediately give or receive business referrals.

It only happens when “I know you”, “I like you”, and “I trust you”.

That’s why it’s important to build relationships within the networking group. Attend often to build visibility and trust. Meet up outside of the meeting, whether socially or for coffee, to build likability. Finally, meet to understand each other’s business, and that’s where you can give and receive business.

This is how we build likability. Some of them have even reached lovability – like a day trip to Johor planned by Diana for some amazing seafood with KTV (or a private concert from our talented Vivien), and meeting some of the amazing members from BNI Winners Johor

We end the day with a well deserved but far too-short foot massage.
